Felt like drawing out Eoin and Amber's parents and so I tossed the whole family together. Yes, their father is a "little person."

A NOVEL APPROACHES :: FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS PART

This wasn't drawn at an earlier point in time, but drawn as they family would appear if they were all together. Eoin and Amber moved out of state and Urard passed away from cancer a decade previously. This is just for illustrative purpose.

Sarah and Urard were both born and raised in Ireland. They fell in love after meeting by chance in the grocery store when Urard needed a hand reaching the fourth shelf. Shortly after they were married and they moved off to the states when Sarah was offered a job with her overseas friend's law firm.

They planted their roots in Oregon and started a family. Eoin was born first, five years later Amber arrived. Eoin and Urard always had a close father-son relationship. They'd often go hiking and camping in the forest. Amber was more like her mother and preferred to stay out of the dirty woods. Despite their general sibling spats, Eoin and Amber got along pretty well growing up. He was always her protector.

A month after Eoin's 16th birthday, Urard was diagnosed with cancer of the brain and despite attempting chemotherapy at such a late stage diagnosis, his life could not be saved. In his final hours, Urard told Eoin that he absolutely must take care of his sister. "Don't let anything happen to her and she will always be there with you." He passed away at the age of 44 leaving his widow to continue to raise their two kids on her own. They were all devastated beyond words- they'd been so tightly knit their whole lives that Urard's passing ripped a hole right through their "perfect family" structure.

Although Sarah was a strong woman, she was never completely a leader type. She had trouble keeping her kids from nearly constantly bickering. Urard was always the peace keeper in the family and with him gone, things began to just fall apart.

After Amber reached her preteens, she became more independent and often even violent. Yelling and throwing things when she felt she wasn't getting the respect or attention she deserved. Even Eoin's naturally cheerful and mellow demeanor didn't stand a chance against Amber's spitfire attitude. She would cuss him out and hit him until he'd snap back at her, as if her transfer of anger to him made her somehow feel better. The two grew very far apart very quickly.

Ten years later, Amber is still living with her mom. Since her graduation from high school, Amber has had much luck with local photography and modeling studios. Her fair skin and natural tight curls mixed with her stunning figure made her a prime pick for the big fashion industries. She landed a job with the biggest- Rizpah's "Creative Intuition" in Curiah City, California. Despite Sarah's unease at her daughter moving so far away, she gave her the okay to pursue her modeling career.

Having long since moved out of his mom's house, Eoin had a few years to spend not having to deal with his outrageous sister every day. He'd picked up a job as a bartender at a local pub and was drumming for a nobody punk rock band. While he was fairly happy, he wasn't really content with himself. He had absolutely no idea what he wanted to do with his life and grew more restless as the months went bye. He kept thinking about what his father had told him, and when he'd heard of his sister's new job in the lower state, he jumped at the opportunity to follow her there. This did not please Amber one bit, but she decided to humor her brother and see how he'd get along in the "big city."

Amber now lives in a nice apartment in the fashion district three blocks away from her job. She's a rising star in the modeling and fashion industry, which generates a lot of attention for herself. Often times unwanted attention from lusty men who jump at the opportunity to try stealing her away, ifyaknowhatImean. She is now beginning to realize it was actually a good idea to let her big goofy brother follow her to the city. Having him around tends to deter the masses of unwanted attention.

Eoin lives in a small studio apartment in China Town down the street from the Janus Arms pub in which he works. His cheerful disposition has gained him a number of friends in the area and his skills in drumming gained him a part with the city's most well-known talent: Duncan "Astrobe" Deeley's band. Despite basically being right back where he started, Eoin is much more content with his new surroundings and his new girlfriend and fellow bandmate Juri Lane. Though her fear of commitment often leads Juri to flirt around with other guys, making Eoin rather uncomfortable at times. He swallows hard and deals with it with a smile.
